Pacquiao Sparring Session to Start Early

Pacquiao vs Mosley
With Manny Pacquiao getting into shape sooner than expected, his sparring sessions may also be moved forward. Unbeaten welterweight Shawn Porter and lightweight David Rodela arrived late last night from the United States to serve as Pacquiao's spar mates in his training for Shane Mosley. The Mosley vs Pacquiao fight will happen on May 7, 2011 on MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The two boxers flew in ahead of Top Rank chief honcho Bob Arum, who is slated to arrive early this morning in time for the media briefing scheduled in the afternoon. Barely a week into formal training, Pacquiao has built up his stamina and found his rhythm, much to the delight of chief trainer Freddie Roach.

Pacquiao, who took advantage of the training break to shoot scenes for his television program Show Me Da Manny yesterday, is slated to have his first sparring session next week. Gauging from Pacquiao's progress, however, it isn't far-fetched that Roach will also adjust the original schedule, which calls for four weeks of training here before moving over to his Wild Card Gym in Hollywood for another four weeks. Watch Pacquiao vs Mosley live on Showtime PPV on May 7, 2011. If you watch Pacquiao vs Mosley live streaming is available via Showtime pay-per-view for only $54.95.
