It turns out Miss Lucy is an old friend of Katherine’s, no surprise she clearly has allies and minions on every corner. “Masquerade” will bring ‘Katherine’s game’ to a whole new level. It appears Katherine and Elena will be dressed alike at the Lockwood’s Masquerade Ball. With all Katherine’s allies running around, this could be the foundation to her plan. This will be a game changer and Katherine’s motives will become much clearer. Bonnie, Jeremy and Alaric all do what they can to help Stefan and Damon, but Katherine has a surprise planned that none of them could foresee. Things take an ugly turn when Matt and Tyler start doing shots with their friends. On the other hand, Caroline and her mother share some quality time together after what happened on the previews episode (Kill or Be Killed) while Bonnie accidentally finds new information about Mason.
